Ivica Brnić (*1979) is an architect, author, and professor at the Vienna University of Technology[1][2]

Career

Ivica Brnić completed his architecture studies at ETH Zurich in 2005.[1] His professional career began in 2006 with the realization of the "ETH House of Science" in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. [3]In addition to his work as an architect, he has been conducting research and teaching at TU Wien since 2011, where he earned his doctorate in sacred architecture in 2015. His main research focus is on the perception of architectural construction. Brnić has published various books and scientific articles[4], including "Nahe Ferne: Sakrale Aspekte im Prisma der Profanbauten" and "Venturing Permanence". [5]He has also given lectures and courses at several universities, such as AU Beirut, ETH Zurich, FHNW, ZHAW, MUZagreb,[6] HSLU, University of Vienna, and TU Graz.
