Itka is a small village of 229 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itka depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Itka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Itka's pin code is 301701[4], and village code is 00923900. The area of Itka is segregated as 185 hectares irrigated area, 31 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
