Itawada is a small village of 1872 hectares in Khandar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Itawada depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Itawada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Itawada's pin code is 322025[4], and village code is 01330100. The area of Itawada is segregated as 32.96 hectares irrigated area, 1.53 hectares unirrigated, the 9.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
