Ishru is a small village of 8009 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ishru depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ishru is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Ishru's pin code is 342311[4], and village code is 01925500. The area of Ishru is segregated as 11 hectares irrigated area, 7474 hectares unirrigated, the 237 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 287 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ishru is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2828 and has total administration over 432 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
