Ishroti is a small village of 172 hectares in Kathumar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ishroti depends on NAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ishroti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ishroti's pin code is 321605[4], and village code is 00944900. The area of Ishroti is segregated as 123 hectares irrigated area, 36 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
