Ishika Chaudhary (born 15 April 2000) is an Indian female field hockey player and a member of the India women's national field hockey team. She was considered the backbone of the Indian junior women's hockey team.[1][2][3][4][5]
Career
Chaudhary started playing hockey at the age of 11. She graduated from the Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy. At the age of 13 she was selected into Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy's Junior Team which then took part in the third India Junior National Championship. The team won silver medal that year.
In the next few years she quickly became part of the Sub Junior team that won gold medal at the 2014 Sub-Junior National Championship in Pune.[6][1]
She led India as Vice Captain in the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup held in South Africa in 2022.[7][8][9]
