Irvington Shakespeare Company is a professional theater company based in Irvington, New York. Their annual summer festival performs throughout |Westchester County in the months of June, July and August, while their year round programming spans the fall, winter and spring months.
History
ISC was founded by actor and lifelong Irvington resident, Kamran Saliani in March 2021, producing their first production in August of that year, Twelfth Night.[1]
In 2022, Saliani and ISC were given special permission by Sir Ian McKellen to revive his one-man show, Acting Shakespeare.[2] The same year, they produced their second annual summer festival, this time a production of Love's Labour's Lost.
For their 2022 season, ISC was nominated for several local regional theater awards.[3]
