Iragi Chihebe (full name: Iragi Chihebe Guillain) is a South African-based Gospel musician, Computer scientist and Linguist. He began his music career in 2018 with the release
of his first studio single 'You are great'. He has since released several singles and the latest on the market 'Mighty and Woorthy' was in December 2020. Iragi is an anointed worship leader, vocal coach and songwriter.
Early Life
Born on the 17th of January 1991 from a pastoral family, the Congoloses-born international singer/songwriter [1] has been a church worker from childhood. He grew up in Bukavu - Hometown, where he was trained in music from his early age. Raised by both parents with seven siblings, he learned the value of love and compassion to the humankind but also the fear of God. His father Buhendwa Chihebe died in July 2014 and his mother still enjoying life.[1][2]
Career
Chihebe’s musical journey began in Sunday school in 1995. He launched his career in 2018 with his first studio single, "You Are Great," after years of experience performing with various musical bands and church choirs.
