Ingebjoerg Berg Holm is an Architect, holding a Master's degree from Bergen Academy of Art and Design ..[1] She published her first novel Stars above, Darkness below (Stjerner over, mørke under) in 2015. The novel received much praise and press, including a favourable book review in national newspaper Dagbladet[2]

The following year her novel was nominated to Rivertonprisen, and won the Maurits Hansen - prisen Nytt blod.[3]

In 2018 she published her second novel Barefooted on the ice ("Barføtt over isen"), an independent continuation of Stars above, Darkness below. This novel received wide acclaim with another brilliant book review in Dagbladet [4], as well as favourable critics in Norway's largest newspaper VG [5].

Berg Holm's third novel, titled Raging Bear ("Rasende binne") , was published in 2021. NRK's leading book critic Leif Ekle characterized her novel as a very well written, unusual, low-key and subtle thriller.[6]

Her third novel was sold to three countries, and is published in both Italian and German, receiving praise from newspapers such as Il Manifesto[7], La Lettura Corriere della Sera [8] and Hamburger Abendblatt [9]
