Dr Inga Warren CBE (born 15 July 1942 in Letchworth, UK) is a British Occupational Therapist. She is best know for her work as a neonatal development specialist[1] for which she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE)in 2021.

Career

After graduating as an Occupational Therapist Inga had a number of jobs in the UK health service before specialising in neonatal development at St Marys Hospital (London). She continued her career as a NIDCAP trainer[2] and is the primary author of the FINE (Family and Infant Neurodevelopment Education) programme.[3]. Inga is a co-founder of Early Babies [4] and a co-author of the book Caring for your Baby in the Neonatal Unit

Awards

  • Inga was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the new years honours list 2021 "For service to the Care of Premature Babies"[5]
  • Inga received and honorary doctorate from Oxford Brookes University in 2019[6]

Inga is married to #REDIRECT Andrew Warren (geographer), has two children and lives in central London
