InChief is a UK-based digital media and internet service enriching the content creator community and is owned by media company JRW3 Ltd.

Its product and services aim to provide content creators tools to enhance their creativity and nurture their rising fan base[1] through editorial, personal development, networking with other creators and their personal F.I.T.T.Y. Index.

History

The service was founded in 2020 and is run by Chief executive officer|Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Christina Watson (ex-Managing Director of Vice Media).

The founding team include Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Ricki Dhal, Chief Design Officer (CDO), Neil Ferguson, and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mango Saul (Ex Smash Hits, Handbag.com and Sugarscape.com).

The team were later joined by journalist and author Kate Lucey (ex-Cosmopolitan (magazine)|Cosmopolitan, Vice (magazine)|Vice and The Sunday Times) who serves as Content Director.

The name InChief was derived from the job title of the highest member of an editorial team “Editor-in-chief|Editor In-Chief”. The concept and launch messaging being. “Everyone is their own Editor In-Chief”

Services

InChief is a paid membership model providing tools for creators to enhance their content. Users create profiles and connect with other like-minded digital creators, representing real-world professional relationships or allowing new relationships and mentorship.

The membership includes access to editorial which help content creators with their professional development.

Members can also generate a personal resume to send to brands, take part in InChief challenges to earn accreditations for their profiles and claim their F.I.T.T.Y. Index.

F.I.T.T.Y.Index

The F.I.T.T.Y. Index[2] uses social network data to create a personal data aggregation and in essence is the users combined Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube following all in one place. A personal F.I.T.T.Y. Index can track the users social media progress, get feedback on how often they post and highlight achievements.
