Iklera is a small village of 1067 hectares in Baran Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Iklera depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Iklera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Iklera's pin code is 325205[4], and village code is 03879900. The area of Iklera is segregated as 492.67 hectares irrigated area, 421.05 hectares unirrigated, the 92.24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Iklera has One post office (Iklera B.O) and Seventeen public telephones. Iklera has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Iklera is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1708 and has total administration over 328 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
