Igyar is a small village of 1618 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Igyar depends on Kuchera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 267.10% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Igyar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Igyar's pin code is 341024[4], and village code is 01795000. The area of Igyar is segregated as 290.1 hectares irrigated area, 1242.39 hectares unirrigated, the 27.44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 57.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Igyar is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2210 and has total administration over 404 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kuchera and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
