Igor Ribakov
Ukrainian.[1] politician, businessman. People's Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of three convocations. He was included in the 100 most influential people in Ukraine according to Forbes magazine.

In the VI convocation - the head of the parliamentary faction "Reforms for the Future" with more than 20 deputies.
In the 7th convocation - a Committee on Tax and Customs Policy member.
Born on August 14, 1976, in a military family in Germany, Weimar. After that, the Ribakov family moved to Odessa.
Education
Igor Ribakov has three high education certificates.
In 1995, Igor Ribakov graduated from the Odessa Road Technical School with honors, specializing in mechanical engineering. Later - Odessa State Polytechnic University with a degree in cars and automotive industry (2001), Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with honors (2009), Master of Laws.
Labour activity
During his student years, Igor Ribakov created an enterprise in Odessa, which brought significant success in business. It was during this period that significant capital was earned thanks to almost round-the-clock work.
The beginning of the career of a successful businessman was the Ozon company, which carried out wholesale trade in drinks and food products, having over 20% of the shares in terms of supply in the Ukrainian market. Then Igor Ribakov opened a new line of business, establishing a group of companies – Ilmetservice, Ferrum Service, Metal Service, Sheder Metal Service, and Shipping Service, that reaches an international level and are engaged in the procurement, transportation, processing, and wholesale sale of various metals.
The company's monthly turnover was over $20 million. Having the talents of an effective manager, Igor Ribakov in 2004 led his team to the deputies of the Odessa City Council[2], winning in the first round. In March 2005, Igor Ribakov created the public organization "People's Initiative - Project Car Run". In the same year, he created the Mission of Mercy Charitable Foundation, becoming its honorary president.
During his work in Odessa, thanks to Igor Ribakov, social-economic indicators in the assigned district improved, and the standard of living of socially unprotected miles of the population was raised.
In 2005, he carried out an international deal for the sale of the entire business with a group of companies to one of the world's conglomerates in the field of metallurgy. Having the support of voters, Igor decides to run for the highest legislature of Ukraine - the Ukrainian Parliament in 2005[3]. Successfully winning the elections, he becomes a people's deputy of the 5th convocation.
In the parliaments of the 5th and 6th convocations, he initiated the creation of the Interfactional Deputy Association "Smuggling - STOP". In his interviews with domestic media, Ribakov noted that he, as the head of the Interfactional Association, “declared war on smugglers and corrupt customs officers,” and the association “does a lot of work to combat smuggling, to fill the state budget through the relevant customs transfers”.
In June 2008, Igor Ribakov announced his withdrawal from the ruling coalition. The deputy explained his step by the unwillingness to put up with the fact that the parliamentary coalition "created a "roof" overshadow structures, corruption schemes for plundering the country."
In 2009, Igor Ribakov created and headed a new parliamentary faction "REFORMS FOR THE FUTURE", which, in fact, became the sixth faction of the Ukrainian Parliament. Soon, the faction "REFORMS FOR THE FUTURE"[4] was officially registered in the Ukrainian Parliament. It included more than 20 people's deputies who supported the course of their leader, Igor Ribakov.
Since 2015, after the expiration of the term of the parliament, Igor Ribakov decided to return to big business and is building a vertically oriented business in the field of energy resources. He successfully establishes business contacts and concludes long-term contracts with the largest players in the oil and gas market in Europe, Africa, and Asia[5][6].
He is a member of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He has repeatedly spoken at conferences related to the energy sector[7]
Participated in the World Future Energy Summit in 2017 and 2019.
For Igor Ribakov, the image of "a man of deep faith and an Orthodox Christian" was entrenched. He is a permanent philanthropist and participates in helping to build churches and monasteries of the Orthodox Church. For assistance to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, he was awarded the Badge of the Order of St. Prince Vladimir, the order Sign “Glory to fidelity to the Fatherland”, the Order of the Nativity of Christ, and others.
Family
Igor Ribakov is married. He and his wife have five children.
