Idra is a small village of 1051 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Idra depends on Bhinder, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 107.63% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Idra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Idra's pin code is 312024[4], and village code is 03640100. The area of Idra is segregated as 127.63 hectares irrigated area, 420.63 hectares unirrigated, the 432.27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 70.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhinder and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
