Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer (Urdu ; ابتسام الہی ظہیر born 12 January 1972) is a Pakistani politician who is the Chief Organiser of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith.

Early life and education

Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer was born on 19 August 1972. He is the son of Ehsan Elahi Zaheer. Ibtisam has two brothers Hisham and Motasim Elahi Zaheer.

He got his primary education from Crescent Model School and passed his matriculation in the same school. He then entered Government College Lahore and Passed his Pre-engineering college exams from there. He then studied at the Engineering University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore.

Political career

Jamiat Ahle Hadith

In 1987, after Ibtisam's father Ehsan Elahi Zaheer was assassinated, Ibtisam became the Ameer of the party. He headed the party until March 2018 when he gave the leadership to Sajid Mir. Ibtisam has been the chief organizer of Jamiat Ahle Hadith.[1] He is currently the Secretary General of party. Ibtisam also participated in the 2018 Pakistan general elections from the NA-138 constituency. However he received 12074 votes and couldn't win seat in the

National Assembly of Pakistan.[2]
