Ibrampur is a small village of 674 hectares in Pernem Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ibrampur depends on MAPUSA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 3.63% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ibrampur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ibrampur's pin code is 403503[5], and village code is 00001700. The area of Ibrampur is segregated as 10.63 hectares irrigated area, 299.36 hectares unirrigated, the 159.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64.74 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MAPUSA and North Goa to sell sugarcane and make their living.
