Ibrahim Yassin (born February 26, 1987) is an Egyptian poet, writer, and editor who writes in both Arabic and English. His works explore identity, diaspora, culture, love, and spirituality, blending rational thought with unconscious symbolism and surrealism.
Biography
Yassin was born in Egypt. He previously lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, before relocating to China. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and has pursued additional studies in literature, language, and mental health.[1] He is currently pursuing a Master’s in English (MA).
He is a member of the National Writers Association of South Africa (NWASA) and serves on the editorial team of the Calabash Literary Journal.[2] Yassin has been active in cultural diplomacy, representing NWASA in several international events.[3][4]

Yassin writes poetry and prose in Arabic and English. His works have appeared in international journals, cultural magazines, and competitions. He has participated in multiple international book fairs, including the Cairo International Book Fair 2023.[5]
