Bashar Alrasheed started I.T. Megabyte in Hawalli - Kuwait. It started as a computer repair shop in 1997 but evolved to sell computers, workstations, and other accessories by 2003. I.T. History

I.T. Megabyte was founded in 1997 by Bashar Alrasheed. It began as a workshop repairing computers and evolved over years to a full-fledged eCommerce website serving entire Kuwait.

In 2003, Alrasheed decided to open a showroom to sell computers and their accessories and received appreciation and their sales skyrocketed.

In 2006, The company shifted to a bigger office in Salmiya, and later in the same year. Alrasheed planned to disrupt the well-established industry through technological innovation and mass-scale selling and service. This includes premium quality services including guarantee one-day delivery, cash on delivery, and secure payments through Knet.
