Hyphen (born 22nd July 1993) is an English rapper and songwriter of Indian origin[1]. He was chosen as one of the BBC AN Futuresounds artist in 2020[2] and played Reading and Leeds festival in 2019 on the BBC Introducing stage[3].

His music is influenced by an eclectic mix of hip hop, jazz, disco and he performs live with a 6-piece jazz band[4].

He has been featured on notable platforms including the Evening Standard, GRM Daily[5], and Sofar Sounds[6].

He has been outspoken about his experience with depression.[7]
