Hussain Munir (1936–2025) was a Pakistani Norwegian from Thiro Chak, Pakistan. He was among the first Pakistanis to contribute in the Norwegian industrial workforce in Oslo in the 1970s[1][2][3]. Later, he would take a role as a front-figure of liberty for education and enlightenment for the Pakistani community in Norway[4]. He would also receive the honour to be acting president of the Thiro Chak Community, which he would decline and instead take the position as vice president.

Biography

Hussain Munir was born in India on January 14, 1936 [1], which later became Kharian, Pakistan.

During his youth, he run a company in Lahore, Pakistan — which would be his uprising as well as one of the major catalysts of why he would later emigrate to Norway.
