Howon University

Howon University, which found in Gunsan, South Korea, is a private institution that offers all four years of higher education. It is well-known for the huge number of work opportunities it provides for its alumni.

It first opened its doors in 1977 as Gunsan Industrial College, but in 1998 it became a full-fledged university.

Howon University was chosen as a participant by the Ministry of Education for Korea's Educational Capacity Development Project, and as a result, the university was granted a grant from the government in the sum of US$5.4 million over the course of two consecutive years, 2009 and 2010.

Howon University was recognised by the Ministry of Education of Korea as the institution that had the greatest employment rate for recent graduates throughout the whole of the nation in the year 2013. Howon came in at a close second in 2014.
