Howard Attfield was an actor, known for roles in EverAfter, Doctor Who and Lexx. He died on 31 October 2007 in London, England, UK, aged 60.

He played the role of Geoff Noble in the Doctor Who episode The Runaway Bride, and was due to reprise the role in the following season but died during the production of the opening episode, Partners in Crime. His scenes were refilmed with Bernard Cribbins playing Wilfred Mott (Geoff Noble's father-in-law).

Some of this footage was released on the DVD of Doctor Who Series 4[1] with his family's permission. A line of dialogue referencing Geoff Noble in The End of Time, Part Two was included as a tribute to Attfield.[2]
