Holpur Kalan is a small village of 1615 hectares in Bilara Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Holpur Kalan depends on Bilara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Holpur Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Holpur Kalan's pin code is 342605[4], and village code is 02011900. The area of Holpur Kalan is segregated as 8.34 hectares irrigated area, 1192.68 hectares unirrigated, the 348.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
