Hiran Khuri is a small village of 603 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hiran Khuri depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 33.80% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hiran Khuri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Hiran Khuri's pin code is 341512[4], and village code is 01834900. The area of Hiran Khuri is segregated as 413.6 hectares irrigated area, 132 hectares unirrigated, the 29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.
