Hingoniya is a small village of 293 hectares in Mangrol Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hingoniya depends on Mangrol, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hingoniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hingoniya's pin code is 325222[4], and village code is 03862200. The area of Hingoniya is segregated as 211.32 hectares irrigated area, 1.72 hectares unirrigated, the 29.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mangrol and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
