Himalaya Jet is a British Premium Long-Haul airline backed by Boeing Startup Seattle that operates on a Point-To-Point model on unserved routes connecting major 33 Cities Worldwide including Monte Carlo (French Riviera), Macau & Las Vegas.[1][2][3]

Overview

Himalaya Jet was founded in September 2022 by Dipendra Gurung,[4][5] a British businessman of Nepalese descent.[6][7] Himalaya Jet will commence operations in September 2023,[8][9] focusing on long-haul, point-to-point flights between London, Paris, and Kathmandu to revitalize Nepal's tourism industry.[10][11]

Initial operations will begin with a fleet of 8 Boeing 787-8 aircraft,[12] and the company envisions expanding to 18 aircraft by the end of its third year of operations with Brand New Customized wide body aircraft.[13] Himalaya Jet plans to expand its network, connecting cities in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia.[14] The proposed routes include flights between Paris, French Riviera,[15] Manchester,[16] Edinburgh,[17] Geneva,[18] Zurich, Milan, Venice, Rome, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Washington DC, New York, London,[19] Sydney,[20] Perth, Manchester, Edinburgh,[21] Paris, French Riviera,[22] Frankfurt, Rome,[23] Venice,[24] Madrid, Macao,[25] Hong Kong,[26] Singapore,[27] Tokyo,[28] Osaka,[29] Abu Dhabi,[30] Riyadh, Jeddah, Kathmandu, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai.[31]

Beyond air transportation, the airline offers to curate all-inclusive experiences, encompassing diverse accommodation options and an array of activities, as part of its holiday packages with major 5 stars / 4 stars Hotels and Casinos will be introducing Generous Himalaya miles loyalty program from Q3, 2023 globally.[32] The company seeks to establish Nepal as a primary holiday destination for European travelers through its "Holiday in Himalaya" campaign as the owner of Himalaya Jet Worldwide from Nepal origin.[33]
