Higoliya Gara is a small village of 270 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Higoliya Gara depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Higoliya Gara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Higoliya Gara's pin code is 327025[4], and village code is 03425200. The area of Higoliya Gara is segregated as 104 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated, the 15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
