Mick Warlock, known professionally as HERO, is a Canadian electronic music producer, singer and songwriter who was born in Calgary, Alberta.[1] HERO spent a brief period of time in Brampton, Ontario and is now based in Montreal, Quebec.[2]His production style fuses dark, vintage-sounding Electropop and House music together in combination with his own R&B vocals. HERO released his debut EP VHS POP featuring the song "The Juice" in 2016.[3] "The Juice" was featured in season two of the HBO series Insecure.[4][5][6] Shortly afterwards he signed a record deal with Fools Gold Records and during 2019 released an EP entitled Dirty Work, followed by another EP entitled Cry Baby.[7][8][9] In 2020 HERO released a 4th EP entitled Club Nowhere.
