Ling, Hsien-yang or Henry H. Lin (Chinese Name: 凌憲揚) was a native of Guangdong province. He completed a B.A. in University of Shanghai in 1927.[1] Later, he completed a MBA degree in University of South California.
From 1941 to 1945, He was the manager of Printing and Engraving Department of Central Trust of China, and the later General Manager of China Engraving and Printing Works in the Chinese wartime capital of Chongqing.
In 1946, he became the president for the University of Shanghai.[2] He remained in Shanghai in order to work his potentials for teaching after 1949.
