Henry Gendus (born 1985) is an American hedge fund manager and philanthropist. He is the chief executive of White Cedar Capital and Heng Fund, LP a hedge fund with approximately $110 million of capital under management as of September 2021.[1]

Early life and education

Gendus grew up in a catholic family in New York, New York. He worked at his family's Lionel Trains business and then at the age of 18 starting his own Private Equity Company. Growing up in a hockey loving household he played competitive hockey while starting small businesses before he graduated Holmdel High School.

Career

He started his career at a young age, helping to preserve the wealth of clients, friends and family. After helping returning profits back to his investors, he sold his Private-equity firm to start White Cedar Capital. He helped to guide his high net worth clientele through the fluctuations of the markets while fully understanding an investor’s broad range of financial needs. Henry and White Cedar Capital share the same philosophy of risk-adjusted returns and personal client relationships. Henry has built a company on basic principles, hard work, patience, discipline, and most of all understanding the client. [2] Heng Fund, LP is a New York City based fund that aims to deliver better than market returns. It was created in July of 2021 and utilities a long short equity approach with emphasis on long and writing of covered calls for generating income while protecting the down side risk by purchasing puts.

Personal life

Gendus is not married and has no kids. He currently lives in Hoboken, New Jersey with his dog.
