Hempura is a small village of 1709 hectares in Kheenvsar Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hempura depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hempura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hempura's pin code is 341025[4], and village code is 01819500. The area of Hempura is segregated as 132.8 hectares irrigated area, 1343.18 hectares unirrigated, the 199 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hempura is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1898 and has total administration over 272 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
