Hemanth Srinivasan[1] is an Indian director who makes Tamil and English short films in the United States. He started his career with Symmetry(2015)[2], and went onto other short short films like The Wreck(2020)[3], Repatriate(2018[4]), and Sandhai(2017)[5]. His short films are uploaded to the production companies Youtube Channel, Petromaxx Dreamz.
Filmography
In 2015, he made his first high quality short film, called Bicycle Diaries, which got mixed reviews. Srinivasan made his next dramatic short film with better production, called Symmetry, for the Charlotte 48 Hour short film Contest 2015, which opened to positive reviews. Srinivasan's next short film in 2016, a silent film, was called Rationem. Rationem was more popular than his other 2 short films, and got very positive reviews. His next short film, called Oliver's Tryst, is a romantic film, which was made for the 2016 San Francisco 48 Hour Film Project. Oliver's Tryst opened to somewhat positive reviews. In 2017, he made his next dramatic short film, Avanum Naanum, for the BAFA Shortfilm Competition Season 2. Avanum Naanum received somewhat positive reviews. His next film, Sandhai, was a drama thriller, which also got somewhat positive reviews. After Sandhai, he made a dark comedy film called The Warmer Substitute, for the 48 Hour Film Project. The Warmer Substitute opened up to positive reviews. His only film in 2018 was Repatriate, an action thriller, which got very positive reviews. In 2020, Srinivasan came out with a new short film, Udhiram Nodigal, a dramatic film which opened up to very positive reviews. After Udhiram Nodigal, he made another film called The Wreck. The Wreck is a dramatic short film, which opened up to extremely positive reviews, making it his best film. In 2022, a new film came out called Kadhalee Kadhala, a comedy which received overwhelmingly positive reviews, yet again making it his best film.
