Helios Energy Georgia is a Georgia (country) company working in the renewable energy sector,[1][2] founded in 2017.[1][3]. The company installs grid-connected, grid-independent and hybrid solar power plants; Nowadays the most powerful solar power plant in Tbilisi (120 kW/peak) has been installed by Helios Energy Georgia.[1][4] The company also develops and installs independent and uninterrupted power supply systems. The company operates in Georgia and Germany with the partner company IMS Erneuerbare Energien GmbH. Helios Energy also participates in the development of a network of charging stations for electric cars in Georgia in cooperation with the partner company E-Space. Helios Energy also disseminates basic knowledge about energy. The Company established the Helios Energy Academy in 2019,[5] where interested individuals can take a basic course on renewable energy.[6]

The concept of the company is based on the development and strengthening of individual energy independence.[6] According to the company, individual energy independence creates the overall energy independence of the country; this should reduce Georgia's energy dependence on neighboring countries and imports of energy carriers.
