Hayatpura is a small village of 1225 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hayatpura depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hayatpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hayatpura's pin code is 345025[4], and village code is 02058100. The area of Hayatpura is segregated as 6.53 hectares irrigated area, the 98.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1072.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.
