Hatwari is a small village of 291 hectares in Kishanganj Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hatwari depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Hatwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Hatwari's pin code is 325224[4], and village code is 03934100. The area of Hatwari is segregated as 64 hectares irrigated area, 162 hectares unirrigated, the 44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell ghee and make their living.
