Hathanapur is a small village of 310 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hathanapur depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Hathanapur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hathanapur's pin code is 323602[3], and village code is 02751400. The area of Hathanapur is segregated as 269.8 hectares irrigated area, the 5.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
