Hathai is a small village of 662 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hathai depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 8.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hathai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hathai's pin code is 314034[4], and village code is 03303000. The area of Hathai is segregated as 13 hectares irrigated area, 187 hectares unirrigated, the 401 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
