Venkata Sairama Harshavardhan Tammina (born 24 April 2007) known professionally as Harshavardhan Tammina is a Kiwi-Australian-Indian tech enthusiast based in Melbourne, Australia known for his technology skills and his live-mixing work. He is the recipient of the Paul Gardener Cup for Service 2022.[1] for his service work in-school and around the community in the year of 2022. He is the Chairperson of registered charity in Australia Techno Harshu[2] with the ABN 76972873606.

Early & Personal Life

Harshavardhan Tammina was born in Auckland, New Zealand, originally from Vijayawada in NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. Grew up in both Vijayawada and Auckland into a Telugu speaking family.

He is the grandson of Rampilla Janakiram and his brother Late. Rampilla Laksman Rao who was an Ayyappa Guruswami.

In 2023, he permanently migrated to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with his family and currently studies there.

Education

Harshavardhan attended Edendale Primary School in Sandringham, Auckland and then attended Auckland Normal Intermediate. During his time at Auckland Normal Intermediate, he obtained the skillset of videography, post-production, live audio, DJing and leadership. He also had the privilege to be the Director of Audio Visual at ANI in the year 2020. He was involved in the following during his time at ANI:

  • Digital Leader - 2020
  • Librarian - 2019
  • Student Coach - 2019 & 2020
  • Choir - 2019 & 2020
  • AV Team - 2019 & 2020

In 2021 and 2022 Harshavardhan attended Mount Albert Grammar School and was selected as the Form Class Representative of 2021[3] and 2022 for 9CVN & 10CVN. In 2022 he was selected as one of the 4 Year Level Representatives for Year 10[4]

He was involved in Mount Albert Grammar School:

  • Tech Leader - Year 9 & Year 10
  • Digital Leader - Year 9 & Year 10
  • Class Representative - Year 9 & Year 10
  • Year Level Representative - Year 10
  • Librarian - Year 9 & Year 10
  • Flag Pole Monitor - Year 10
  • CEO @ Smash Burgers NZ (Finance & Enterprise Business Stall) - Year 10[5]

He was the Paul Gardener Cup for Service Recipient in Year 10.

He is currently attending Keilor Downs College in Keilor Downs, Victoria as a student from 2023. He is a Year 12 student in 2024. He was part of the KDC Events Team for Audio in 2023 and still on the team in 2024. He was selected as one of the 9 Year 12 Leaders[5] for his cohort in 2024.
