Harshad Reddy

Harshad Reddy is a Indian Businessman and a shareholder in the first chain of corporate hospitals in India, Apollo Hospitals.[1] He is the son of Ms Preetha Reddy and Grandson of Dr Prathap C. Reddy|Pratap C Reddy.[2]

Early Life and Education

Harshad grew up observing his mother's work in developing Apollo Hospitals|Apollo hospitals as one of the largest chain of Hospitals in India. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in in Manufacturing from University of Warwick, UK and Masters degree in Science from City, University of London|City University of London.

Career

Harshad Reddy started his career in 2010. With a decade's experience, he has built business

  • Director of Operations in Apollo Proton Cancer Centre|Apollo Proton cancer Centre, the first Proton therapy Centre South East Asia and Middle East.[3][4]
  • Joint Managing Director in PPN Power, Tamil Nadu's largest gas power station. Under his leadership, the company was awarded as the 'Best Operation Power Plant' by Ministry of Power (India)|Indian Ministry of Power.[5]
  • Director of Apollo Homecare. The company supports 70,000+ families annually with better homecare facilities. Harshad has been the phenomenal part in growing the service in 9 cities with 800+ employees.[6][7]

Personal Life

He is an athlete and cyclist. He recently organised Apollo D2D Duathlon to raise funds for paediatric cancer patients.[8] As an initiative to build awareness, he cycled 126 Kms with DGP of TN, C. Sylendra Babu|Sylendra Babu[9]
