Harry O'Hanley is an engineer and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of ABL Space Systems.

Early life and education

O'Hanley grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Milton Academy in 2006[1].

He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at MIT, he was an instructor for the Wheelchair Design in Developing World course.[2] He traveled to Nairobi, where he designed and distributed wheelchairs to individuals in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.[3] He also researched boiling heat transfer while studying Nuclear Engineering. The research was sponsored by Areva. [4] He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S in Nuclear Engineering from MIT.[1]

Career

O'Hanley joined SpaceX in 2011. He was a Falcon 9 Stage 1 Responsible engineer and was on console for launch operations.[1]

O'Hanley founded ABL Space Systems in 2017 with Dan Piemont.[5]
