Early life

Harry Mohinani is ethnically Indian. He was born in Pune, Maharashtra, on 28th April 1966. Harry is the first son of Harish Mohinani, founder of The Multitex group, that manufactures low-cost clothing in Asian countries such as India, China, Vietnam, and Bangladesh.[2] After living in India for 4 years, he moved to Hong Kong, where he now resides.

Marked growth in the company led to the initiation of many other notable partnerships in the trade dealership market, including Angel Garments Ltd which would later be acquired by his younger brother Vijay Mohinani to be directed under Mason Global.

In 2012, he stepped into the real estate sector by establishing the Platinum Estates group with his wife Roshni Mohinani.[3] With interests in the United Kingdom and Spain, the company has offices in Hong Kong, London, and Madrid.[2] Having set its sight on the Spanish market since 2013, Platinum Estates landed in the Spanish real estate business in 2014 with the purchase of the former Telefónica headquarters in Barcelona for €56.4m[4] and since has invested over €400m[5] in assets working in partnership with the Spanish government and major hotel groups including the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and Crowne Plaza.[6]
