Club career

Shillington made his debut for Melbourne City FC in an Australia Cup Clash against the North Eastern Metro Stars SC in Adelaide, Australia on 14th September. In the 95th minute, Shillington won the penalty that saw Melbourne City FC advance to the Semi Final of the Australia Cup with a 2-1 win.
