Harriet Harnden (born 9th March 2001)[1] is an English cyclist. Over the years, Harriet has competed in Enduro, Cross Country[1] and more recently Downhill Mountain Biking.
Early Life
Harnden is from West Malvern where she grew up with 3 older brothers[2]. She began cycling at the age of 8 and started to compete age 12[2]. At the age of 20, Harnden became one of the youngest ever Elite EWS Winners.[2]
Career
Harnden has raced Enduro, Cross Country and Cyclocross and has recently competed in Downhill Mountain Biking for Trek Factory Racing. In 2023, Harriet won the UK Downhill National Championships.[3] She came in 5 seconds before her competitors to secure the National Championship Jersey alongside her current jerseys in Cyclocross and Cross Country.[4]
