Harpura is a small village of 369 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Harpura depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 7.15% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Harpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Harpura's pin code is 311605[4], and village code is 02891700. The area of Harpura is segregated as 60 hectares irrigated area, 76.9 hectares unirrigated, the 117.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 114.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
