Haron is a small village of 195 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Haron depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Haron is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Haron's pin code is 327023[4], and village code is 03389200. The area of Haron is segregated as 88.1 hectares irrigated area, 44.21 hectares unirrigated, remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Haron has One post office (Kanji Ka Gara B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Haron has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Haron is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 724 and has total administration over 156 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
