Harold Danielson was an American professional baseball catcher in the New York Yankees organization for six seasons. He started his professional career at the age of 16 with the Kansas City Blues in 1945, hitting .226. He finished one vote short for Rookie of the Year (American Association) . His professional debut was on June 29. In 1946, he split time between the Binghamton Triplets, the Norfolk Tars (.208/~.283/.250 in 15 games) and the Joplin Miners (.203/~.259/.241 in 23 games). In 1947, Danielson batted .244 for the Twin Falls Cowboys and made the all-star team for the first time in his career. In 1948, Danielson hit .309 with 5 home runs for Twin Falls. This time he was the top vote-getter in All-Star balloting for the Pioneer League. A year later, he homered a career-high six times for the Cowboys, drove in a career-best 63 and batted .268. With the Beaumont Exporters that year, he posted a .368 average. He finished his career with the Victoria Athletics and Salt Lake City Bees (.284/~.397/.333) in 1950, playing his final professional game on September 9.

Two grand slams in one game

On August 6, 1949, Danielson cleared the bases twice. Only a few players have achieved this feat.[1]
