Harlaya is a small village of 2719 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Harlaya depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Harlaya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Harlaya's pin code is 342302[4], and village code is 01934700. The area of Harlaya is segregated as 31.33 hectares irrigated area, 2447 hectares unirrigated, the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 190.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.
