Harlan Goldstein (born January 8, 1961) is an American celebrity chef and food writer.[1][2][3]

Early life

Harlan's interest in cooking began in the kitchen of his uncle's restaurant in New York City.[4][5] At the age of 14, he began cooking professionally in a kitchen in Florida.[6][7] And immediately after that, he went to the prestigious Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in Switzerland as an official internship.[8][9] There, he worked with a French team of 80 people and was able to learn the French language during this time.[10][11]

Career

At the age of 28, he was appointed executive chef at the China World Hotel in Beijing.[12][13] He managed to gain a lot of fame among clients who were Asia's most prominent capitalists and entrepreneurs.[14][15] Within five years, the esteemed club renamed his signature restaurant Harlan's and spoke of his accomplishments during his tenure.[16][17] Here the Harlan Goldstein brand was born.[18] Harlan's is currently in Pattaya.[19][20][21]
