Haripura Khurd is a small village of 1200 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Haripura Khurd depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Haripura Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Haripura Khurd's pin code is 326001[4], and village code is 03996400. The area of Haripura Khurd is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area, 51.18 hectares unirrigated, the 58.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 4.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
